Matsudo Mottainai Day Memorial Event

Let’s begin from “Mottainai”

 

 

 

Matsudo city designates every February 15 as “Matsudo City Mottainai Day”.

Commemorating this day, the Mottainai Campaign Promotion Citizen Conference will hold

an event to offer an opportunity to think about “Mottainai”, the programs of which

are arranged to incorporate the viewpoints of “Dietary Education” as well as

“Gen-C02 or CO2 Reduction (Countermeasures to global warming)” in them.

   The event includes a variety of programs such as memorial lecture, various

displays, a stamp rally, sales of local origin fresh vegetables and others. Why don’t

you take advantage of this chance to think again about “Mottainai”.

Memorial Lecture

“Let’s think about Mottainai with Sakana-kun”

Lecture begins at :  1:30 pm   (doors open 1:00 pm)

Venue             :  Hall

Capacity          :  1,000 persons  (on first-come-first-served basis)

                     (no prior application is needed)

   Sakana-kun, a visiting assistant professor of Tokyo University of Marine Science

and Technology, whose activities are well known through TV programs and other events,

will talk about those matters concerning Earth Environment, CO2 Reduction, Dietary

Education and Preciousness of Life.
